Martin Mangelinck lived and worked in London and working today in Belgium.

He is born in the XX-th.

Martin Mangelinck obtained a master of Fine art sculpture.

He works in varied media such as drawing, painting, installation, photography, new media, sculpture with no uniting    appearance. 

However he seems to push and to pass on a reality of images in their harrowing phase. He tries to bring the object closer to ourselves, closer alive. 

Developing immersive artworks, allows you to build your own experiences and share them personally around you, friends, people and with him sure. For example in the masterpiece "Origine du Monde" the visitor is taken into consideration by the representation, altering the displayed content.

 

His "New Media arts" faces issues around the challenge with "natural" materials such mineral, terracotta, bronze, gold, diamond, marble, chalk beyond the emotions of its production. Currently its research and projects are underway to improve if the observer has emotional display of whether or not specific emotions felt during a given time. Are emotions next to the border the border of a climax ?

 

 We often forget Realism and its "neo, sur, ..." of all kinds is what's real. So it contains all genres, since everything is real. It doesn't make sense. What we call "art" is always the fruit of reality of our reality not the one of anyone else.

... what is quite unique to him, namely this ability to go beyond the norm, to do something unexpected, is certainly liberating. What appeals to Martin Mangelinck's work is the discrepancy between the somewhat “conformist” image and this emergence of the uncontrollable, the irruption, the call of the irrational to which everyone feels ready to, answer without daring to take the plunge ... All this is done in a climate of great subtlety, finesse, so that we have the impression that it can go completely unnoticed in the eyes of most. intervene, completely unforeseen and whose concrete consequences may or may not be considerable, the important thing is not really that, but rather the very fact of the transgression and one then remains without understanding strongly attached to his creations.

…ce qui lui est tout à fait propre, à savoir cette capacité à sortir des normes, à faire quelque chose d’inattendu, est certainement libératoire. Ce qui séduit dans l’oeuvre de Martin Mangelinck, c’est le décalage entre l’image un peu “conformiste" et ce surgissement de l’incontrôlable, l’irruption, l’appel de l’irrationnel auquel chacun se sent prêt à répondre sans oser franchir le pas... Tout cela se fait dans un climat de grande subtilité, de finesse, de sorte qu’on a l’impression que cela peut passer totalement inaperçu aux yeux de la plupart. Une perturbation majeure vient d’intervenir, tout à fait imprévue et dont les conséquences concrètes peuvent être ou non considérables,  l’important n’étant pas vraiment cela, mais plutôt le fait même de la transgression et l’on reste alors sans comprendre fortement attaché à ses créations.   M.L
